Form 8833 and treaty research
Form preparation and treaty research are separate services. The $200 Form 8833 fee covers preparation of the form after the treaty position has been established. It does not include the research needed to establish that position. Permanent-establishment research and treaty analysis start at $1,000 and are billed separately. If both services are required, the combined fee starts at $1,200, excluding tax return preparation and other separately quoted filings. Your final fee is confirmed after reviewing all relevant circumstances.
